They are inviting and modern convenience stores with products designed to meet the needs of local customers, with low prices and extended opening hours. This format is popular among customers and is galvanized by franchisees’ efforts.
The Group’s various banners range in size from 200 to 900 sq.m. as befits their purpose, driving the ambition of becoming the standard for local convenience stores.
In total, at June 2017, Carrefour had 7,180 convenience stores, with 4,237 in France, 2,378 in the rest of Europe, 485 in Latin America, 32 in Asia and 48 in other countries.
